By downloading, installing, or using the Ring Sizer app or this website ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. The service

Ring Sizer is a utility that helps you estimate your ring size by visually matching a ring you place on your device's screen against an on-screen circle. It outputs the measurement in common ring-size standards (US, UK, EU, JP) plus mm and inches.

3. Accuracy and limitations

Ring Sizer aims for high accuracy, but the result depends on:

• The screen calibration of your specific iPhone or iPad model.
• How precisely you align the on-screen circle with your physical ring.
• Variations in ring shape (oval rings or non-uniform bands may give imperfect results).

Ring sizing is inherently variable — finger size changes throughout the day, with temperature, and over time. For high-value purchases (engagement rings, wedding bands, custom pieces), we strongly recommend confirming the size with a professional jeweler before ordering. We are not responsible for purchase decisions made on the basis of measurements taken with the app.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app.
• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
• Resell or redistribute the app without our written permission.
• Use the Service in a way that could damage, disable, or impair its operation.

5. Intellectual property

The Ring Sizer app, website, name, logo, and all original content are the intellectual property of the Ring Sizer team. You receive a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the app on devices you own or control, in accordance with the App Store Terms.

6. Pricing

The core sizing tool is free to use. Optional in-app purchases or premium features, if introduced in future versions, will be clearly disclosed before purchase and governed by Apple's standard App Store billing terms.

7. Third-party services

The app and this website do not integrate any third-party tracking, advertising, or analytics services. Distribution is handled by the Apple App Store, which is governed by Apple's Terms.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or accuracy of measurement. Use of the Service is at your own risk.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Ring Sizer team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service — including but not limited to incorrect ring purchases, resizing costs, or returns.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Use periodically. Updates will be reflected on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by deleting the app from your device. We may suspend or discontinue the Service at our discretion.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the Ring Sizer team is based, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Disputes will be resolved through informal contact first; formal proceedings, if necessary, will be brought in the courts of that jurisdiction.
