How does Ring Sizer measure my size?
You place a ring you already own flat on your device's screen and drag the on-screen circle until it matches the ring's inner edge. Ring Sizer reads the diameter of that circle and converts it to your size in US, UK, EU, JP, mm, and inches.
How accurate is it?
Ring Sizer is calibrated for the screen dimensions of every iPhone and iPad model. For most users it lands within half a size of a professional measurement. For engagement rings or other high-value purchases, we recommend confirming with a jeweler.
I don't have a ring to measure against — what now?
You'll need to find one. The most accurate way to use Ring Sizer is by matching against a ring that already fits the finger you're sizing. A close friend or family member's ring usually works for surprise proposals.
Why doesn't the result match a paper sizer?
Paper sizers are usually printed at slightly different scales depending on the printer and paper. Ring Sizer uses your device's known screen dimensions, which is generally more accurate than a printed sizer.
Does Ring Sizer work on Android?
Currently we ship on iOS (iPhone and iPad). An Android version may follow if there's enough interest — drop us an email if you'd like to be notified.
Does the app collect my data?
No. Ring Sizer doesn't require an account, doesn't track you, and doesn't include advertising or analytics SDKs. See our Privacy Policy for the full details.
Is it free?
Yes — the core sizing tool is free to use, with no subscription required. If we add premium features in the future they'll be clearly disclosed and entirely optional.
How do I delete the app and any local data?
Long-press the Ring Sizer icon on your home screen and choose "Remove App", then "Delete App". This removes all local app data from your device. We don't store anything on a server.
